Running With The Red Queen

Following the release of Lelutka's Simone Bento, Glam Affair has created lots of new beautiful Lelutka appliers with Simone in mind. 

The Project Seven sees the release of 'Serah' in 9 skin tones from Artic to Africa, each including 4 eyebrow colours plus no brow option. To compliment the release of this pretty skin applier, there are also packs of lipsticks available - each including light and dark versions of the chosen colour. 

Azoury has released the 'Cho Headwear' at The Chapter Four. This elaborate headpiece is available in four different colour versions and they will be half price for the duration of the event, which runs until 20th Jan. 

The collar is by Zibska and can be found at Shiny Shabby. The pack includes the full version, in addition to separate lower, mid and upper sections for ease of styling. A colour HUD is included providing 30 colour options and allowing for each layer to be adjusted independently of  each other.

Simone Bento has been updated to version 2.1 - just wear your 2.0 to receive the update!

Notable points for the update include the addition of a blend slider to the brow layer, tattoo layer will now fully cover eyelids, longer lashes and a few minor bug fixes.

Red sky in the morning, Sailors Warning!

OMG! Just one more day until the new round of Enchantment opens and there is so much pretty fantasy stuff swimming round I don't know what to do next! The Little Mermaid is the theme, from the Disney version to the tales of old. Today I've based my look on the idea of the mermaids of old English folklore, who were responsible for causing stormy seas and luring sailors to their destruction (for the record, no sailors were harmed in the making of this feature!)

Azoury had created some amazing tentacled headpieces for the event. There are 3 colours available and what a shock, I'm wearing the black :P

The texture work is fab as always by Azoury and these really are gorgeous pieces.

Up until yesterday, I have to admit I was a mer-tail virgin, but I've finally dived in with this beautiful tail by JUMO. There are mens and womens versions available in a bunch of colours and each comes with 3 different tail fin options, plus mermaid AO.

The tail came with bra too but I've decided to team it up with the scales bra that .aisling. has created for the event. It's not rigged and the left/right parts are separate. Again there is a bunch of colours available and I love how this could be used for some really different looks, I think it could be a new fave piece!

Finishing off the look today I'm wearing the new eye makeup mask by ARISE. Again, there are multiple colours for this mask and not only does it come in standard tattoo layers, there are appliers for Lelutka, Eve and Genesis Lab mesh heads!

Hitting the street with the current round of Uber!

I couldn't quite decide if I felt like Paparazzi or if I felt like I was hiding from them for this pic, so I'll let you make up your own minds!

I love the new bikini's by Erratic, designed especially to fit Maitreya Lara mesh body. I feel like I've been waiting for so long for items like this that snugly fit the mesh body and I'm so glad that second life creators like erratic (& also Foxes as mentioned in my last post) are embracing the change from the classic avatar over to mesh.

 There are are a bunch of different colours for this bikini but staying true to form I went for the black. The others are kinda two-tone with black and the colour. You can find them all at Uber.

Also at Uber this month, Reign has these fab new sneakers. They are so darn cute! Again, a bunch of colours & textures available but I went for the black. And again, I love how snugly they fit the mesh body!

Eurial is the name of this gorgeous new headwear by Remarkable Oblivion, available at the July round of The Secret Affair. There are 3 versions available - Gorgan Red, Medusa Blue and Stheno Black. This is one of my fave all time RO pieces!

Also new at The Secret Affair are these bracers by The Plastik. There are men's and women's sizes available, in a variety of designs. 

The Epiphany is an all new gacha event that opened this week. It's where you'll find this beautiful bodychain by Kibitz, as well as matching accessories. What make this gacha different? Upon rezzing your prize, it allows you to either keep it or redeem it for points/credits. So no need to worry about unwanted duplicates piling up! When you get 25 points you can trade them for one of the exclusive prizes (copy version) on offer by any of the creators involved in the event. Get 200 points and you can trade for a transfer version. The exclusives area is up a huge staircase from the event itself, its sign-posted so you'll find your way ;)

I adore this new skin by [PUMEC], which is a gacha prize for the new Epiphany event. 'Yasmin' is soooo pretty!! There are 2 skin tones available, 4 different make-up options and 4 different brow options plus clean skin rares. As with all the skins by this creator, appliers are included for Lelutka, Genesis 2.0 and TMP heads (this really has become my face skin designer for the Lelutka appliers!). There is also a rare prize of the mesh body and parts appliers for those who haven't purchased [PUMEC] skins previously.

The face paint I'm wearing with the skin is by ARISE and this is another item at TSA. In addition to the tattoo layers included (in multiple colour options), there are appliers for Lelutka and TMP.

Roquai has a new pose collection out for The End event, called 'rain'. There are 6 poses in all, split into 3 pairs. 

Ohhh... and a new round of Shiny Shabby is just around the corner. [Entwined] hair has this beautiful long wavy style as a release for the event!

So, it's been a few days since my last post and I've got back into my own skin again so to speak. Well my own shape anyway (the skin is actually Glam Affair). It's the first time in weeks I haven't been wearing a mesh head and as much as I have liked using them, I have missed my own face too!
I've been enjoying some more of the awesome items from the current round of We Love Roleplay. This sexy new faux dread hair by Tableau Vivant has become a new firm favourite. It comes in the frizzy chic line of colour huds and is unisex. I'm so glad that there are more and more styles in these colour textures because I really like them and they have such a natural appearance, which is helped along even more so by the odd wispy strands in this style.
Also at the June round of WLRP, MiaMai presents these chic new boots which are the perfect combination of armour/roleplay looking and modern elegance. After all, every warrior type girl needs some fashionable heels too, right?! There are 4 different colours available.
Today's set is by 22769 ~ [bauwerk]. Their items can be purchased as a complete set (which also includes shelters and barrels not shown) or as separate items. The guard tower makes a perfect addition to castles and fantasy sims, with realistic stonework and circling staircase. The banner in the background is mod and you can set it up to fly your own flag/colours if you choose! And the chests, well they contain the treasure which my triumph won for me today ;) lol
All items at WLRP are discounted by 25-50% for the duration of the event, so always good to snag them now rather than later!

For anyone who has been waiting on the lag dying down to get into The Arcade, you should be fine now. Remarkable Oblivion has one of my fave gacha machines there with their 'Mercenary Guild' items. I'm wearing two of the rares today. The gloves are resize and unisex. They are super detailed and this set, the jailer set, holds the key! The weapon is scripted for all you roleplayers out there and its resize too.
Another fave machine for this June Arcade is Pixicat's 'Temptation Corsets'. I had my eye on this rare corset as soon as I saw the promo pics and fell lucky when I was playing! It comes with a HUD with 4 different colours to choose from and it's one of two rare styles, but all the commons are supersexy too!

This must have been one of my favourite rounds of The Secret Affair and even as the event draws to a close at the end of this month, I'm still very much in post-apoc mode.  Especially as there seems to be so many awesome things still to show!!

Today's look was created using quite a mix of items. This faux dread hairstyle from Tableau Vivant uses their frizzy textures and is perfect for the slightly more 'rough and ready' chic look. In addition to new hair, which we all cannot resist, Tableau Vivant also brought some new clothing items to the event. This fringe collar is rigger mesh and supersexy as a top on its own, or could be worn as an accessory to finish off a look. 
I'm loving the harness and paudrons by [The Forge]. The texturing on these tyre pauldrons is really awesome and give a completely different finish to a look than similar products.
And I know I seem to be saying this about everything, but one of my fave accessories from this event that I totally love is the rare eye patch and belt set from Luas 'Mad World' gacha.

And to move on from The Secret Affair, do be sure to stop by the current round of Level Up to grab this awesome saw axe by CerberusXing. There are 2 versions included in the pack, a belt version and one without the belt. The latter attaches automatically to your back so if you are wearing your own belt, seems to be hooked on to that or it can be attached elsewhere if needed! Again the detail is fab in this. 

The Wastelands seemed to be the perfect place to get all destructo to take this pic!!

The End Times

Prepare yourself - this is a bumper post!
I absolutely love post-apoc stuff, so when I saw that the theme for the new round of The Secret Affair was going to be 'The End Times' I was very excited. And I have not been disappointed, the creators and designers involved really have outdone themselves.
I had the pleasure of doing a shoot with some lovely ladies today, thank you very much Duchess, Sorchie & Kynne - be sure to check out there versions too!

The mask grabbed my attention as soon as I saw it, how could it not?! It's made by [SWaGGa] and it can be found at The Secret Affair along with this awesome collar by CerberusXing, which comes in 4 different colour options. Both are resizeable and unisex.

The outfit is by !gO! and the textures on this are of absolutely amazing quality. You can pick it up in 5 different colours. Guys don't worry, you'll find a male outfit by !gO! with very similar texturing!!

It's not just clothes and accessories available at the event either, there are many prop/decor creators involved and you can really put together an awesome desolate looking hangout or living space.

If you haven't checked out Remarkable Oblivion's offering at the March round of the Arcade, it also fits right in with this theme!! Love these boots and all the little details in them.
