Penny Dreadful

OMG what a week, yay for the weekend! Apologies for not getting any posts out this week but I'm heading into the weekend with some gacha goodies! My look of the day and pic are based on Penny Dreadful and the lovely Miss Vanessa Ives. Faida & Fallen Gods Inc have come together in another collaboration to create the 'Dreadful' dress collection. 'Vanessa' is the rare and there are 2 HUD versions to play for - Black and Dark Shades. The commons for this gacha are 'Lily' dresses in 14 different colours. The texture work is so lovely and detailed in these dresses! The black HUD version, shown in the pic, includes black gown with either plain or patterned texture, plus various texture options for the blouse. Play this gacha at the Wayward Halloween event.

Penny Dreadful was the term applied to popular serial literature in 19th Century England, costing a penny per publication. The stories often focused on the supernatural, criminal and downright creepy stuff! 

So of course this was also the perfect opportunity to explore the 'Dark Magic' gacha collection offered by May's Soul at the current round of The Epiphany. There are no rares in this collection of spooky decor which you can collect in time for Halloween! If you collect duplicates, you can also trade these in for credits to purchase event exclusives - see more about that here.

This amazing skybox is by Remarkable Oblivion and is one of the rares in the Hotel Paranoia collection, new for TAG Gacha. The detail and texturing is amazing, with each room having a different appearance and the windows are animated with a downpour of rain.

Glam Affair has released new Lelutka mesh head skin appliers, which you'll be able to find in the Lelutka mainstore. 'Laura' comes in all standard skin tones and each contains 8 lip colours and 8 eye makeup options, as well as various brown colours.

Mesh Avenue opens today with a steampunk theme and Dead Dollz has explored the sexier, more daring side of this theme with the newly created and  stunning 'Victoria' lingerie set for this event! It's designed for Maitreya Lara mesh body and includes fitted mesh bra and panties, with optional lace underwear appliers. 

I fell in love with it instantly and jumped into the IM box of the beautiful Duchess Flux to see if she'd like to join the kitties and I for a photoshoot!

There are 6 colours to choose from - the black and white versions that Duchess and I are wearing, plus blue, brown, pink and antique.

The kitties btw, are from the 'Bastet' gacha by Pixicat at The Arcade and how beautiful are they?! There are 4 different posed kitties to collect plus a bunch of other pretty things in the gacha machine. The sphynx cats have a colour HUD to change between black, white and patch. 

Glam Affair has just released some new skin appliers for Lelutka Undivided mesh heads in mainstore and I adore the sultry look of 'Mavi'. Available in a whole range of skin tones, each applier pack also includes 8 make up options for eyes and 8 for lips in addition to the 'clean' skin. For those of you who love the less common Glam Affair tones including petal, exotic, tropic and africa, you'll be very pleased to know that this gorgeous new skin applier does come in these tones!

If you haven't made it into Collabor88 this month, keep trying! There are some awesome pretties up for grabs including these gorgeous cuffs by *katat0nik*. I've been waiting for ages for something like this (especially that is compatible with Maitreya hands as well as SLink) so I jumped on them straight away. There are 2 packs available, mono and colour laces.

The sexy over the knee boots by CandyDoll can also be found at September's Collabor88 and are available in a range of colours. Standard sizes are includes as well as sizes for Maitreya, SLink, Belleza Isis & Belleza Freya mesh bodies.

My hair today is by D!va. It's non-rigged and includes a flower accessory that can be turned on/off or colour-changed via HUD menu.

One of my most favourite skins in my inventory is Glam Affair's Katra. So you can imagine how happy I was when I saw a new range of makeups for this skin at the latest round of Uber! There are 6 makeups available for Glam Affair Katra Ballerina, each in Polar, Europa and Jamaica skin tones.

It's that time again...

A new round of The Arcade opens in Second Life on Monday 1st June and here is a sneak preview of the goodies on offer by *Tentacio* in another collaboration done with Antielle!

I love this "Rabbit in the Moon" set - it's soooo cute! There are 3 rares available - 2 kimono style dresses and the rabbit Okobo sandals (which come with colour change HUD). The texturing of the dresses is divine and I adore the bunnies. The shoes are unrigged so you can make them fit the flat feet of your choice.

The commons include some cute mini-dresses in 5 different colours, matching okobo sandals, 3 bags and some yummy looking goodies!

You still have until 5th June to head to the Fantasy Gacha Carnival too, where you'll find a couple of the prop/decor pieces I've used today.

I'm still wearing the Lelutka mesh head. I'm getting used to it - a bit. I still do miss my own face shape I have to admit, but the quality and smoothness you get with the mesh heads is completely unrivalled by what the standard avatar can offer. Anyone who wishes to tell me "I told you so" feel free to do so now :P

Where to start today? Well first I'll talk about the fabulous new chair by He La. I first saw the pics of this about a week or so ago on Flickr and was not disappointed when I got the real thing. This lovely hanging chair makes a beautiful ornamental piece and of course is functioning furniture as well with single and couple sits. There are 3 colours available - black, silver and gold. You'll this at the furniture section of the mainstore - turn right at the entrance to the clothing store!

Dead Dollz has some lovely new strapless gowns and dresses available for the 'With Love Fair'. 'Beloved' is available in 2 lengths and has a sexy low cut back with bow detail. The gown is 550L and the dress is 350L, with both available in choice of colours and each colour-pack containing 2 versions.

We Love Roleplay commences for another round and Zibska has an impressive new jewellery set. The different sections are colour-changeable via a HUD which gives plenty of different options and its resizeable too - which means guys can make the necklace fit also ;)
This necklace works well for the finishes touches to an elegant look or as part of a fantasy/rp themed-outfit.

hey ladies!

So I'm uber-late doing an 'Uber' blog post for this fabulous macabre round... but for anyone who hasn't been around the grid for the last few weeks here is a look at what's on offer and also serves as a reminder for those who haven't got to the event yet!! Only a few more days left. 

Ok first things first... I swear I was ready to propose to the creator of =Zenith= after seeing these dresses. Not only because they are so darn pretty, but also because as well as standard sizes they come in a special size for cocodoll. I was so ridiculously happy! XD 

The dress comes in 6 different colours and each pack includes 2 versions, one with a pose so your hands don't sink into the ballerina-style lace skirt. 

Most of today's props can also be found at Uber and I adore these little 'treasures' by [ kunst ]. The book opens at the click of your mouse, the toy piano plays and the clock time can be set to your will!

In Full Bloom - Pure Poison & Zibska at SAVIAD Spring Fashion Fair

hello ladies! Two looks for you today! So many goodies from the SAVIAD Spring Fashion Fair and so little time!
The first look and pic was inspired by the darling shoes by .::Pure Poison::. They are totally unique and so so pretty!
For the second look I've gone darker to show off the exquisite headpiece and collar from the Ayla ensemble by Zibska (which also includes a dress that isn't shown, 3 versions available). 

The eye makeup is also by Zibska and is available at another fair that is wrapping up in the next few days - the skin fair. The first photo is a pack called Galit and contains 15 rich colours. I love the way this makeup tints the eyebrows too.
The second is called Ebal and the pack contains 14 bold shades.
 So hurry and get shopping!! Both fairs come to an end at the end of the month.

Newness from Sugar again ladies! Miss Sugar has been working hard yet again and has some beautiful new corsets out - including 'Jezabel' which I am wearing in 'Opium'. As with so many of their hairs its very realistic.

Hey everyone! Only 1 more day and yay for weekend \o/ Sooo got some new Sugar to show off to you peeps and this sexy dress does effortless couture. I love these shoes! I didn't realise till later (oi i was sleepy when i took the pics >.< lol) but the windlight has made my toes appear to glow white BUT they actually come with a pretty amazing HUD and matching skin is perfect with them. The HUD has several pre-matched skins from popular creators and is so easy to use. Plus there are options for the lace or no lace, with different designs.

I wore this hair in one of my earlier blogs but this is the other style included in the pack (the other is an updo). Includes a hairband and ribbon if wanted, but i've team it up with this hair flower accessory from .:ellabella:. (Giger - deepest)
