Well, OK so not really a panda... but I was feeling inspired by this cute new panda tattoo by White Widow and the sexy strap on bear ears by May's Soul. 

The tattoo has awesome design both front and back, as well as cute lil' panda's on the arms too! There are all sorts of appliers included, in 3 fades. 

The May's Soul 'Le Jolie Mask' is available is bunny and bear versions, each available in black, pink and white. It's unrigged and mod to fit to your head shape and you can pick it up at the current round of Totally Top Shelf. 

I absolutely adore Catwa's new 'Destiny' mesh head, which you'll find at the Mesh Body Addicts event. The basic head is just 900L and then you can purchase each add-on pack separately or a fatpack for 4150L for all animation options. I'm feeling she is totally me XD

Also, Glam Affair released Calliope/Cassiopea skin appliers for Catwa heads at this event and I think this applier looks so beautiful on Destiny! (some confusion on name sorry, poster says one and actual applier says the other! It's all the same one)

The all new round of We Love Roleplay opens tomorrow, 4th March, and Azoury has created some beautifully dark horned skull headpieces called 'Isilla'. I love all things skelly & skully so obviously immediately fell in love with these! The textures are incredibly rich in details and there are 3 variations available - white horns, dark horns or red horns. Each will be 202L$ instead of 289L$ whilst at the event until the end of April.

I'm totally loving the '8 bits' collection by Bauhaus Movement, which can be found at the current round of Shiny Shabby. All of these accessories are unisex and it's awesome there is finally a hood that doesn't cause a million problems with hair choice lol. The hood had 4 colour options available, as well as a fatpack, and each includes 3 size options each for male and female. There are 4 versions of the mask available and the black one I'm wearing allows for the metal choice between silver, gold and bronze. Coordinating versions of the necklace are also available.

This fabulous mechanical arm is by [The Forge] and is also a unisex item. There are both black and steel versions available, each coming in male and female fits. The arms consist of 2 parts - upper and lower - which can be repositioned to your needs. You'll find these at The Men's Department.
The very ominous looking bat I'm carrying is also by [The Forge] and is a release at We Love Roleplay! That means you'll have to hurry on over there to pick it up at the discounted price before the end of the month ;)

Meanwhile....In Toy Town

Meanwhile... in Toy Town, the elves are enjoying a few days of play and rest before getting down to the business of toys for next Christmas. Dolly is also enjoying play and can't resist the cuteness of the new kittens.

OK so when I did the pic for this post I actually had much more story in mind, but as I finished it at 5am in the morning and preferred bed to blogging at that time I didn't get anything down. So, as you can guess it kinda went out of my head lol. I'll let you finish it off yourselves ;)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I'd planned to do a festive post before the big day (so many awesome seasonal goodies out there at current events) but it never happened due to holidays being amazingly busy so far!

Anyway the items in this post work well for the rest of winter too! Starting with the enchanting paper trees and gingerbread house by Artisan Fantasy, which are available at We Love Roleplay. The gingerbread house is actually much smaller as standard size and would look awesome inside a cosy kitchen etc. with other pieces available as part of the set. But for Toy Town of course, I made it a lil' bigger. WLRP ends last day of the Dec and until then, all the items at the event are discounted 25-50%. There is no WLRP in Jan so make sure you get your fill of fantasy and RP goodies there in Dec!

The adorable kittens are by Jian and can be found at the Winter Gacha Event. The commons are wearable and come in lots of different versions, including the ginger tabby, brown tabby and black kittens shown. They are animated too, making them extra cute. There are 3 rare decor pieces, which include the kitten in the gift box shown below.

The Fantasy Gacha Carnival is in town! The November round has brought lots of pretties from our fave Second Life fantasy & RP creators in the theme of "Silver, Gold - Angels and the Dark Side of the Moon".

May's Soul has released the 'Drakonian Angel' collection comprising of 8 commons and 2 rares. There are 2 styles of corset - vintage (shown below) and black - with matching accessories in black or silver, as well as this stunning set of wings! The texture work on this vintage corset is really beautiful and I love the red corset lacing detail at the back!

Dead Dollz is also taking part in this event with the new 'Rococo' collection. 4 different styles of commons - panties, garters, sleeves and shrugs (not shown) - each in black, white and pink. There is one rare item which is a corset with colour hud (not shown in pic). These items are fitted mesh for Maitreya Lara mesh body.

OMG what a week, yay for the weekend! Apologies for not getting any posts out this week but I'm heading into the weekend with some gacha goodies! My look of the day and pic are based on Penny Dreadful and the lovely Miss Vanessa Ives. Faida & Fallen Gods Inc have come together in another collaboration to create the 'Dreadful' dress collection. 'Vanessa' is the rare and there are 2 HUD versions to play for - Black and Dark Shades. The commons for this gacha are 'Lily' dresses in 14 different colours. The texture work is so lovely and detailed in these dresses! The black HUD version, shown in the pic, includes black gown with either plain or patterned texture, plus various texture options for the blouse. Play this gacha at the Wayward Halloween event.

Penny Dreadful was the term applied to popular serial literature in 19th Century England, costing a penny per publication. The stories often focused on the supernatural, criminal and downright creepy stuff! 

So of course this was also the perfect opportunity to explore the 'Dark Magic' gacha collection offered by May's Soul at the current round of The Epiphany. There are no rares in this collection of spooky decor which you can collect in time for Halloween! If you collect duplicates, you can also trade these in for credits to purchase event exclusives - see more about that here.

This amazing skybox is by Remarkable Oblivion and is one of the rares in the Hotel Paranoia collection, new for TAG Gacha. The detail and texturing is amazing, with each room having a different appearance and the windows are animated with a downpour of rain.

Glam Affair has released new Lelutka mesh head skin appliers, which you'll be able to find in the Lelutka mainstore. 'Laura' comes in all standard skin tones and each contains 8 lip colours and 8 eye makeup options, as well as various brown colours.

A new round of Uber has begun and Glam Affair has released another gorgeous skin applier for Lelutka Undivided mesh heads. 'Clara' is available in the full range of standard skin tones and each contains a clean version plus 8 eye makeups and 8 lipsticks. Each Hud pack is just 699L!

And I'm celebrating the end of the week with this fearless tribal look courtesy of the May's Soul 'La Parca' items from The Epiphany Gacha event. It's certainly a different take on most common ideas of the grim reaper! Maybe the idea is to tempt lost souls to an early grave... They certainly are fun accessories to play around with and create all types of stories! But for today, just collecting the bones of those who stray a little too far...

It's time for all of you Second Life woodland creatures, fairy folk, elves and other fantasy peeps to flock to The Fantasy Collective! 

As soon as I saw this dress by !gO! I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Available in 3 different colour/season versions, this fantasy gown is beautifully unique and gave me the 'Nymph' idea for today's pic. The top and skirt are separate pieces.

Dolly's hair is by [Entwined] and can also be found at The Fantasy Collective. It's a pretty side-swept, wavy, mid-length style and is available in their usual colour packs.

I also thought the new gacha accessories by LODE at the current round of Shiny Shabby worked really well for the look of the day.

OMG I love this round - some very, very cool items on offer from some of my fave creators of Second Life.

Get ready for an epic battle with DRD's Roman Chariot prop/decor/furniture piece. There are clean and battlefield versions, available in PG or adult and inclusive of poses. DRD also has accessories at the event to help you get in character, which include 2 different styles of helmet. The one I'm wearing is mod and the feathers can be tinted to your colour choice. 

I love this armour by [LAB737] and my pic really doesn't do it justice! The set consists of 2 pauldrons and 2 lower arm braces. There are both male and female versions and they can be modded to fit right. There are lots of really cool little details on this armour and could be integrated into lots of different styles.

Another amazing tattoo by Things is available new for the event, which of course comes in standard tattoo layers, as well as with appliers for Omega system, Belleza and TMP.

We Love Roleplay Second Anniversary!! - To the souls that crouch in fear

It's the Second anniversary of We Love Roleplay, making it one of the longest standing shopping events in Second Life and creators have really gone all out for this round with some awesome new fantasy pieces. It's a bigger round than usual too, with more stores taking part and more items being included! In addition, as a token of thanks at the May round of the event, many of the designers have put out freebies as gifts.

[The Forge] is well known for their fabulous armour and they do not disappoint with the 'Arcana' set, which includes pauldrons and sections for both upper and lower arms. There are 5 different colour versions available at 250L each for the duration of the event.
Also new from [The Forge] is this awesome plaid vest, which could easily be incorporated into more urban/mainstream looks as well as roleplay styles. This is available in 3 different colours - black, brown and gold - at 175L each and there are also matching bracers available for purchase (not shown).

Pixicat is back with a bang for this round of WLRP with the 'Foo Armor' set. Tops (not shown)and bottoms are sold separately and come in 5 different metal variations. Each includes a colour HUD for the fabric. The bottoms have a discount of 50% whilst at the event so is best to hurry and grab now! I love the styling of the armor bottom, with the detail of the ropes and the beast (is anyone else getting flashbacks to the door knockers in Labyrinth?)

We're Not Playing Toy Soldiers Anymore

So this week has been one of 'those' weeks and I been slow in getting some pics done... but of course I have been shopping and checking out some of the fab new stuff about.
I am loving the new round of The Fantasy Collective, with so many industrial-themed goodies on offer!
May's Soul has this fab leather collar and pauldrons combo, which can be used as a cool accessory or as a sexy top! There are 3 neutral colours available - black, white and brown - at 120L each or 300L for the fatpack. 
Axix has a very cool armour & cuffs set available for the event. Its non-rigged mesh so can be resized to fit and comes in 5 different colour options. Price is 125L each or you can pick up the fatpack for 350L.
These boots by COCO are some firm faves of mine and work with this look perfectly I think!

May's Soul has 2 gacha machines and both are fabulous. One machine contains the very first hair by May and I love it!! Girls and boys versions available, this hair is unrigged and resizeable, samurai style with a couple of accessories for rare prizes!

{anc} has once again brought a wonderfully quirky creation to the FGC. These mannequins come in several variations with 4 rare versions to win. The majority contain 23 single poses (for 2 people), with the 2 mermaid rares containing 20 single poses, 11 cuddles and 7 adult animations.

I've also just discovered that Letis has updated practically all tattoos instore with appliers for most mesh body bits, including Belleza, SLink Physique and TMP (yes, I realise I may be a bit behind with this news but its good all the same!). If you've previously purchased the tattoo with just the standard layers etc, go to the redelivery terminal instore and you'll get the new version with all appliers. Very awesome - thank you Letis!

It makes me think of an armoured kinda look, but this dress could be used for so many different fantasy and rp looks!

hey peeps! Some more goodies from The Secret Affair to show you courtesy of May's Soul and .::Pure Poison::. today. The fur vest by May's Soul comes in 10 different colours, which can be purchased individually or part of the two fatpacks on offer - furs and pastels. The fatpacks basically give you 5 colours for the price of 4. All come with a HUD to change the colour of the belt and this top could be used for various fantasy looks, as well as even mixed with more urban stylings.

The skin I'm wearing today is by [PXL] and this special 'winter' tone version of 'Mia' can be found at the January round of We Love Roleplay. It's super pretty and comes with 4 different make up options, various eyebrow options and even optional lip colours too!

Today I'm also using the SLink Physique body. Now I said I wouldn't be getting this, as I absolutely adore my Belleza Venus and as a personal choice was never as fond of the SLink Physique shape anyway. I stand by what I said previously, I still prefer Bellza. 

So what changed my mind on buying the SLink you ask? Well a few things really. One thing is availability of appliers and clothing designs made for SLink, another is alpha layer options. By having both I've found I can use a mesh body with mesh clothing far more, as the alpha layer huds are a little different on each and this gives more options - what will work with one might not work with the other. Hopefully that makes sense. Also, this pretty skin tone had SLink appliers and I so much prefer to show it off with the mesh body ;)

Plus... at 1250L, the SLink body wasn't breaking the bank.

I may do more of a comparison at another time, but many have been done already so we'll see.
