The new round of The Secret Affair is just days away. The theme this time around? Well if the title of this blog post didn't give you a little hint, think Nordic warriors & Norse mythology and you'll get an idea of many of the stylings from our awesome Second Life creators this time around!
According to Norse mythology, Valkyrie was the name given to each of Odin’s twelve handmaids who conducted the slain warriors of their choice from the battlefield to Valhalla.
The fabulous 'Valkyrie' outfit that I'm wearing is by deviousMind and is available is a variety of colours. It comprises of this amazingly beautiful chain armour (a simpler chain top is also included), chainmail clothing layers (omega appliers included), and skirt (not shown). It's very much a mix and match outfit with each part being optional - you can be daring and go without the chainmail layers if preferred and choose to wear the chain tops or skirt to get the style you like. The layers also have different versions included and the top and lower versions can be worn independently of each other to really customize your look.
The headpiece I'm wearing is by Glam Affair and can be found at the current round of We Love Roleplay - I thought it matched perfectly with the look and theme of the outfit! This too is available in a wide range of colours and can be adjusted to get the right fit.
The skin applier I'm using today is one of the new appliers available in their mainstore especially for Lelutka Undivided mesh heads. 'Kaia' can be snagged in a wide range of skin tones, including one of my faves - Exotic. Each tone includes a clean version of the skin with 8 different eyebrow options, plus 8 eye makeups and 8 lip glosses.
Glam Affair is also participating in this month's Collabor88 with these beautiful 'Sya' wings, available in 6 different colour options.
