!dM deviousMind have created some fabulous carnival carts for their gacha at the current round of Enchantment as tribute to the midnight carnival part of the story. There are 17 carts to collect - 15 common and 2 rare - and each is completely different (gacha key). I wanted to do a more zoomed in pic of my caged 'beast' but the carts have so many awesome details on the outside of them too!

.aisling. have released a stunning new leather corset this week, perfect for SL roleplayers and fantasy lovers! This belted underbust corset comes complete with a colour HUD including 9 colours for the main corset, 9 for the belt, 6 for the laces and 3 metal options. There are standard sizes included, as well as fitted sizes for SLink physique and hourglass. However, I'm wearing the physique size with my Maitreya body and it fits just fine with the right alpha sections taken out.

.aisling. is also taking part in January's The Secret Affair and one of their releases for the event is these awesome leather gloves, which I think match perfectly with the new corset! Rigged and unrigged versions are included and these also include a colour HUD.

A new round of We Love Roleplay opened today and I'm amazed by some of the beautiful creations available for Second Life fantasy lovers this September!

Glam Affair has created some beautiful new skin appliers for Lelutka mesh heads in one of my fave skin tones (polar). They range from soft pink tones to dramatic eye make ups and lush red lips, the choice is yours! 5 different make ups available.

There is also a stunning new tattoo by White Widow - Altar - which comes in 3 different colours and with lots of different appliers. Each colour comes in 3 shades/intensity levels (I'm wearing the middle one!).

The gorgeous jewellery set is by Zibska and is just one of the new releases Zib has brought to this round of the event. It comes complete with colour HUD to change the main and minor gem colours separately. 

My pretty little crown by LaGyo is available in a wide variety of colours and is resizeable, making it versatile to use in different ways!

How many of you are still waiting to get into The Arcade? It took me ageesss!! But was so glad I made it because it's a really fabulous round! 

Totally love the new editorial hairs by Tableau Vivant, so dramatic and full of movement. There are 8 different common styles, each of which come with 1 of the 6 colour HUDs. They are all unrigged so you can really play around with pics! There is also 1 rare rigged style that comes in 3 different packs, each containing 2 HUDs.

Aisling has created the DIY Love Potion gacha for this round and the flowers I've used in today's pic are so beautiful in detail.

Red sky in the morning, Sailors Warning!

OMG! Just one more day until the new round of Enchantment opens and there is so much pretty fantasy stuff swimming round I don't know what to do next! The Little Mermaid is the theme, from the Disney version to the tales of old. Today I've based my look on the idea of the mermaids of old English folklore, who were responsible for causing stormy seas and luring sailors to their destruction (for the record, no sailors were harmed in the making of this feature!)

Azoury had created some amazing tentacled headpieces for the event. There are 3 colours available and what a shock, I'm wearing the black :P

The texture work is fab as always by Azoury and these really are gorgeous pieces.

Up until yesterday, I have to admit I was a mer-tail virgin, but I've finally dived in with this beautiful tail by JUMO. There are mens and womens versions available in a bunch of colours and each comes with 3 different tail fin options, plus mermaid AO.

The tail came with bra too but I've decided to team it up with the scales bra that .aisling. has created for the event. It's not rigged and the left/right parts are separate. Again there is a bunch of colours available and I love how this could be used for some really different looks, I think it could be a new fave piece!

Finishing off the look today I'm wearing the new eye makeup mask by ARISE. Again, there are multiple colours for this mask and not only does it come in standard tattoo layers, there are appliers for Lelutka, Eve and Genesis Lab mesh heads!

OK, so this ended up being a bit of a cross between the gladiator stylings that are currently available at this round of The Secret Affair and an Arabian nights theme, but I hope you like the pic!

The outfit is by !deviousMind and is available in a few different colour versions. Each includes both sheer and opaque versions, as well as including tops to fit Maitreya and Belleza mesh body shapes in addition to the standard avatar. There are 2 versions of the skirt, with the belt as shown and also without.

The cushion seating can be found at The Secret Affair too. It's by [ zerkalo ] and there are 2 colours - reds and sands. They are part of the 'dance pit & sits set'. Dance pit not shown but has a very cool bunch of themed dance animation in it!

We Love Roleplay Second Anniversary!! - To the souls that crouch in fear

It's the Second anniversary of We Love Roleplay, making it one of the longest standing shopping events in Second Life and creators have really gone all out for this round with some awesome new fantasy pieces. It's a bigger round than usual too, with more stores taking part and more items being included! In addition, as a token of thanks at the May round of the event, many of the designers have put out freebies as gifts.

[The Forge] is well known for their fabulous armour and they do not disappoint with the 'Arcana' set, which includes pauldrons and sections for both upper and lower arms. There are 5 different colour versions available at 250L each for the duration of the event.
Also new from [The Forge] is this awesome plaid vest, which could easily be incorporated into more urban/mainstream looks as well as roleplay styles. This is available in 3 different colours - black, brown and gold - at 175L each and there are also matching bracers available for purchase (not shown).

Pixicat is back with a bang for this round of WLRP with the 'Foo Armor' set. Tops (not shown)and bottoms are sold separately and come in 5 different metal variations. Each includes a colour HUD for the fabric. The bottoms have a discount of 50% whilst at the event so is best to hurry and grab now! I love the styling of the armor bottom, with the detail of the ropes and the beast (is anyone else getting flashbacks to the door knockers in Labyrinth?)

My Midsummer Night Valentine - It's A Secret Affair

One thing I do love in particular about virtual worlds is the ability they give us to be anything we want. I do enjoy changing my second life avatar around and  this was one of the reason's I started this second life fashion blog. Many of my regular readers will have noticed how I love to make pictures with Dolly, using the ball jointed doll avatar by *COCO*, and today is no exception!
Another thing I love is the shear number of wonderful and imaginative creators that allow us to make our avatars what we want in Second Life and the number of wonderful events that showcase their creations... Next up? The Secret Affair opened today and here is a peak at what you can find there ;)
This event is themed on medieval masquerade and Shakespeare's A Midsummer Nights Dream, with various role play and fantasy styled items available. I adore this dress by Aisling, which is available in 2 colour styles that are exclusive for the event. The corset section can also be worn alone without the skirt and the sleeves are separate allowing various mix n' match combinations with other things as well. There is also a HUD which allowed the texture to be changed on some of the skirt panels, the sleeves, corset laces and the metals.
I'm also loving some of the new hairs by Moon, including this lovely long style (the new texture range is fab too - just getting that out there!)
The Secret Affair also gives gacha addicts the fix they need, with many of the creators having a gacha machine at their stands in addition to their vendor item. May's Soul has a 'Princess Day' gacha offering various crowns and headpieces and they are all lovely!

Here Begins A Story (Fantasy Faire 2014 Is Open!!!)

The Fantasy Faire is open... and so begins a story. A story of elves, fairies, mer-folk, princesses, warriors, forest creatures great and small... everything that can fill your dreams and nightmares... a story for life and most importantly, a story for 'Relay for Life'. 

Every vendor at the Fantasy Faire has items that will help benefit this amazing cause, but only with your help, your imagination and your stories (after you've been shopping of course!)

And so begins a story....

This story begins as a classic tale retold. A story of a beauty who was left sleeping in a garden under an enchantment. 

As with all fairy tales... our beauty was a princess and as she was awakened by her rescuer (looking gorgeous in her Aisling headdress and jewellery), of course she expected to find prince charming (she was asleep a long time - a girl's gotta have a dream!)

In this story though, the hero is no ordinary knight in shining armour on a gallant steed... actually no shining armour in sight at all. Her prince charming was a brave little man from the far off lands of the dwarfins... riding a tiny but fierce dragon!

So as our princess looked up to see the sun shining through the trees, signalling the start of a new day, she prepared to join her noble rescuer on a a quest, a voyage to new lands, to find the witch who put the spell on her and to discover the havoc that same witch had wreaked on the kingdom during the princesses slumber.

Together they reached the great Sanctum... only to find no one there. Nothing but the sheep left grazing peacefully in the meadow. 

There was not one sign of the witch... and as our princess looked around, she wondered if the Gods themselves had come down to take their vengeance.

'Gathering' is a stunning new headpiece by Zibska, it's beautiful, elegant and artistic and I absolutely love it! It comes with a colour change menu of 30 options making it perfect!
