Summer

The 10th Annual Second Life Hair Fair will be opening on July 11th and, as they do each year, they have held a photo contest. I couldn't resist the lure of the promised prizes (many hair fatpacks up for grabs! So, this is my entry for the Hair Fair 2015 contest and I thought I'd blog the look also.

The SL Hair Fair helps to raise money for the 'Wigs for Kids' charity. 
For those of you who like to get creative, there is one more day left to submit Bandana designs for the Hair Fair's Bandana Day in order to help raise funds for this wonderful cause. More details about that here.

The dress I'm wearing in the pic is a sneak peak for OMGacha by DRBC, who will have 2 fantastic machines to play. The dress is a lovely light and summery style with prints that compliment that feeling. All the prints are fabulous (this is a common I'm wearing!) and there are 2 rares and 6 commons to collect.

Dreaming

Weekend is here! Although I'm not sure that's what is in Dolly's dreams today *eyes the message in the bottle*

This cute cloud set up is by 8f8 and is available at The Dreamer's Factory, along with the "Vintage Birds II" gacha, also by 8f8. The clouds come complete with poses and can be purchased as individual units or the complete set (which saves you a few lindens and also includes the walkways!)
The "S.O.S" message in a bottle is new by Azoury, available with its beautiful message in multiple languages.
Dolly's hair and the included cutesie-pie 'tweeters' are by !Ohmai at The Hair Fair, with a portion of proceeds being donated to the Wigs for Kids charity so it's a great opportunity to look good and help a good cause - be sure to get there before the end of the month!

Snail Racers & Hedgehog Spectators

hey peeps! Lots of stuff from new events and ending-soon events today!

How cute are the new accessories by Tentacio at Level Up? These adorable snails are gacha items and got me racing along the beach today! Tentacio is also offering some cute racing car back-packs at the event in various colours.

Rhapsody is a music themed event due to open on June 28th and I will be showing off lots of goodies over the next few posts, but today is a sneak peak of what Milk, Grafica and R3volt are offering. I love the cute shorts that R3volt have available for the event. I often have issues with getting mesh shorts to fit right without glitches with the alpha etc. but these fit perfect! They also come with a multi-texture HUD so you can match your style to your mood with denim, camo or various colour options. The belt is also colour-changeable independently via the HUD. 

If you haven't been to The Arcade yet you'll be able to get around the gacha machines lag free now as we approach the end of the month. Pure Poison has various summer travel pieces in their vendor to accessorize your look!
