The all new round of We Love Roleplay opens tomorrow, 4th March, and Azoury has created some beautifully dark horned skull headpieces called 'Isilla'. I love all things skelly & skully so obviously immediately fell in love with these! The textures are incredibly rich in details and there are 3 variations available - white horns, dark horns or red horns. Each will be 202L$ instead of 289L$ whilst at the event until the end of April. 

The harness I'm wearing can also be found at WLRP and is by ieQED. The 'Lotus' harness is available in a selection of colours and matches the belt of the same name that ieQED released last month. There is a colour HUD included with each version, allowing you to change the metal and gem colour of the clasp.

Reaper at Play (Time for some gacha fun with The Arcade!)

1st September marks the opening of the new round of The Arcade (yes peeps, it's just a few hours away!)

I was super excited when I first saw the gacha prizes by *Tentacio*! I love working with ball-jointed dolls and these are so fabulously creative. Each prize consists of either a full body, a doll head or doll bra/thong set. There are 2 skin tones up for grabs - natural and vamp - but the bodies can be tinted to match better with skins of other mesh heads or standard avatar skins too. 

There are 2 rare prizes - the skeleton and carousel bodies - and these include both skin colour options. I'm wearing the body (torso) and wings from the rare skeleton prize in vamp but what I really love about these bodies is how you can mix and match the different parts. The arms and legs are from the body of the 'inked vamp' doll. The tattoos on the arms, hands and legs are so detailed and personally I'm lovin' the black nail polish too!

There are 4 doll head prizes (2 different make ups in 2 different skin tones) and each comes with choice of 3 eye colours via a HUD. I'm not wearing the Galatea doll head in the pic but purely cos I loves on my usual doll head so much, so you can see the prizes in the gacha key below.

Most of the props from today's pics are from previous gacha events (I guess I was in gacha-type mood in anticipation of the Arcade!)

However, the tree is new by Studio Skye. OMG this tree is awesome, it's so detailed and perfect for upcoming Halloween scenes and creepy hangouts. It can be used all year round with the scripted season changer (5 options, each season plus 2 for fall). There are 2 versions included, with or without ground base, and the Li upon rez is 10Li or 5Li respectively. Resizing upwards increases Li of course, but I decreased size a little and that brought the Li down a touch.

There are a few more days left of the birthday round of Collabor88 so if you couldn't get in earlier on, you should have no bother now. Exile have released 2 new windswept hairstyles, one of which is the "You Send Me" as shown in this pic and the other I used already in a previous post.

The headpiece dolly reaper is wearing is by Dirty Stories and was at Totally Top Shelf last month but can now be found in their mainstore. The rose colour is changeable via a HUD, as is the skellie hand and the little gems.

And I'm celebrating the end of the week with this fearless tribal look courtesy of the May's Soul 'La Parca' items from The Epiphany Gacha event. It's certainly a different take on most common ideas of the grim reaper! Maybe the idea is to tempt lost souls to an early grave... They certainly are fun accessories to play around with and create all types of stories! But for today, just collecting the bones of those who stray a little too far...

OK, so this ended up being a bit of a cross between the gladiator stylings that are currently available at this round of The Secret Affair and an Arabian nights theme, but I hope you like the pic!

The outfit is by !deviousMind and is available in a few different colour versions. Each includes both sheer and opaque versions, as well as including tops to fit Maitreya and Belleza mesh body shapes in addition to the standard avatar. There are 2 versions of the skirt, with the belt as shown and also without.

The cushion seating can be found at The Secret Affair too. It's by [ zerkalo ] and there are 2 colours - reds and sands. They are part of the 'dance pit & sits set'. Dance pit not shown but has a very cool bunch of themed dance animation in it!

A few days away and it seems like I've been away for a month SL time, I swear it! TAG Gacha started on Friday and I love the theme this time around. It's all kinds of freaky sideshow oddities and the creators have been hard at work making some very awesome things to play for. If you wanna find out how TAG works, hit up their website and you'll find the LM to the starting location at the bottom of this blog post.
The creepy cute dolls and pram are the prizes by Remarkable Oblivion for this event. The pram can be resized to suit needs and their are 6 awesome dolls to collect. The super cool thing about these dolls is the way their heads move to look at you too but you can lock in position if preferred.
CerberusXing also has some very cool pipes for TAG. The rare is a dragon head and comes in 2 different wood colours and 3 different metals. A HUD is included to control smoke on or off and there is an animation for smoking too, which 'switches' the pipe from hand to mouth.

A new round of IDK has kicked off and Azoury is really stepping out with these fabulous shoes. Available in 3 colours, they fit SLink, Maitreya & Belleza feet. 

Don't forget We Love Roleplay is going on for a few more days. Dead Dollz has this lovely dress with lace details available in 3 different colours. Bonus for mesh body lovers, I didn't need any alpha to wear this with my Maitreya Lara... It just slipped on nicely!

I'm currently very caught up in a post-apocalyptic world, thanks to the current round of The Secret Affair - "The End Times". 
With so many awesome creations though, I'm not even looking to find my way back yet!!
Today is a very unisex post. This fab mask is by MeshedUp and comes in 3 different colour versions. The texturing is super well done and the whole mask is totally badass!! The hooded top by [Stitched] comes in a variety of colours and the is both male and female versions and the black leather skinnies by Tableau Vivant are also available for both guys and girls!

The scenery is this pic can also be found at the event. Death Row Designs have created this awesome ruined building with a very grungy post-apoc hangout area. There are lots of sits and animations (including a very amusing drunken stand - see gyazo gif animation :P). 
The sandbags are part of another building made by 22769 ~ [bauwerk], who also has a very cool gacha to play at the event.
Lastly, check out the awesome backpack by {Reverie}. I did include this in my previous post but its so amazingly detailed I couldn't resist using it again and getting a better shot.

If you still want to decorate or get those finishing touches out.. do take a look at the Midwinter Gacha Fair, where you can find this beautiful set by ~Libertine~.

The base tree can be picked up for 30L, then each play on the gacha is also 30L. The thing that is extra fabulous about this is the unique scripting which allows you to interactively decorate the tree (rather than place each bauble and ornament on it individually, therefore not sending the land impact sky-high). There are also animated rugs and other ornaments in this set to play for in the gacha too!

Dead Dollz are also feeling festive, with 5 of their dresses transformed into special Christmas additions. These are likely to be limited time only and discontinued after the holidays so do hurry on over to the mainstore to pick up your faves! The one I'm wearing is Ozymandias - Red Xmas Gown and this is a stunning full length gown with highly detailed lace texture and sexy low cut back.

Sad November will be running from Nov 1st to Nov 22nd and Azoury has these fabulous Sauvage shoes to play for! The gacha is 89L per play with 4 different upper texture designs - creme, leopard, black and brown - in 3 different base designs. The ones you see pictured are the common 'trunk' and there will also be the rare 'trunk white' and ultra-rare 'driftwood', making 12 different shoes to play for and collect!

These are fitted for Slink mid or Belleza feet. They also need a little extra height, which can easily be achieved by adjusting your hover in edit appearance. I think I have mine at about 55 for these shoes.

I also say a final fairwell to H22O as this gorgeous sim will be disappearing on Halloween, so do be sure to stop by before its gone!

Dolly is all at one with nature today, with a little help from some new Zibska goodies. The hjorir headpiece is new at the Tales of Fantasy event. This can be purchased as the full version, which includes a HUD with 10 colours for the antlers, leaves and cones (which can all be changed separately). The full version also includes the Life contouring make-ups in 11 colours (not shown). Alternatively, you can snag one of 4 single colours that come with the corresponding make-up colour.

The Night Isn't Over Yet

hello ladies!

So first things first... new event "The Gathering" is due to kick off on Oct 1st! And look at the stunners that Azoury has to offer! In this gacha machine there is 1 ultra-rare shoes, 2 rare shoes (the black rare are shown!), 2 rare necklaces and 6 commons - all amazing! The shoes are honestly to die for (and thankfully this is SL so I can walk in them and everything *grins*)

The shoes are made for SLink high feet and .... Belleza mesh body.

Oh yes ladies... I couldn't resist grabbing the Belleza Venus mesh body. I absolutely LOVE it. At just shy of L$4K, its not cheap. But with 16 different hands included (yes you can select the left and right to be different) and 4 different feet options, its really not too bad a price. The hands are pretty awesome too! So much easier changing positions with a HUD rather than swapping and changing them too.

  We've all seen the pics of the body with nothing or next to nothing on it. But how many of us spend our time in SL naked? Not me for one - I like my clothes too much! So the more important thing, what can we wear with it? 

Well, I've tried 3 outfits so far and all have been fine. Don't get me wrong.. I've had the odd bit of poking out due to AO or dance but I'm talking minimal damage here. The alpha HUD is easy to use and plenty of separate sections to be able to get the right fit with all kinds of clothes.

Which brings me on to the clothes...this pretty dress is by Dead Dollz and was part of their collection for Penumbra AWFW, but is now available in the brand new Dead Dollz mainstore. The dress comes with hud to be able to change the tone of the lace section, with 8 different shades to choose from.

The pretty pretty skin I'm using today is by Glam Affair, which I grabbed in another of their 'flash sales'. What's the deal? Well basically some limited edition skins (I think was 200 copies each) for a special price. Definitely worth keeping an eye out for. I do so by following the lovely Miss Aida Ewing on Flickr.

I can't tell you how much I love this round of The Secret Affair, with it's wonderful Edgar Allen Poe/The Raven theme. The peeps over on the event team have done a wonderful job with the sim and some of the creations I've seen really are exceptional work. And of course I love any chance to get a bit dark and creepy...

The dress and accessories I'm wearing for today's pic are by Zibska and these items can be found at The Secret Affair until 28th Sept. Guys if you like the tentacles and style of this outfit, there is a shirt version for you! The skull headpiece is simply wow! There are 6 common colours available and then a rare version with HUD that contains 10 colours for main section and 10 for the roses/orbit. All contain separate petal orbit.

And lastly.... Who doesn't love a new hair day? Truth has some more pretties available and I'm wearing the new 'Amaris' style. A pretty half up, half down kinda look, I imagine this would really work with fantasy/rp styles as well as normal wear! I can see I'll be 'doing ma thing' with it a few times!

How cute are the new accessories by Tentacio at Level Up? These adorable snails are gacha items and got me racing along the beach today! Tentacio is also offering some cute racing car back-packs at the event in various colours.

Rhapsody is a music themed event due to open on June 28th and I will be showing off lots of goodies over the next few posts, but today is a sneak peak of what Milk, Grafica and R3volt are offering. I love the cute shorts that R3volt have available for the event. I often have issues with getting mesh shorts to fit right without glitches with the alpha etc. but these fit perfect! They also come with a multi-texture HUD so you can match your style to your mood with denim, camo or various colour options. The belt is also colour-changeable independently via the HUD.

A new month and some fabulous new events to talk about!

The Instruments started on June 1st with some beautiful creations available. Azoury presents "Aya" - A platform show designed for JD Myfeet. It's available in 4 different colours, each with black and white strip versions included.

The Gypset Market will commence on June 5th and Zibska brings you the 'Tibby' ensemble for this event. Included is a mesh skirt, bandeau top and an eccentric ruffle collar!

A new round of The Arcade has also begun and I couldn't wait to get my hands on the absolutely gorgeous pieces by {anc}. The EDEN set contains 19 pieces, with 4 rares available.

#100!! Corsets & Cabaret For Spring - Taking a look at Serafilms, Saviad Spring Fashion Fair and The Arcade

hello ladies! This is my 100th post \o/
And today's look manifested from a trip to the new Serafilms event, at which I found this beautiful hair by Little Bones and exquisite corset/skirt combo by Tentacio. This round of the event and all the goodies on offer are based on Moulin Rouge. 
Then everything else followed after that!

One thing about the hair... it's beautiful and I love it... but it's very script heavy. You'll need to manually delete the scripts out of it. Sadly this renders the HUD useless so you'll need to make a copy for each colour before you delete them! Hopefully this is something that might be sorted in the future...

If you haven't taken a trip to The Arcade yet, there should be plenty of space to walk around without lag! Enfant Terrible have a really cool collection of 'travel souvenir' hats available and they are all really beautifully detailed and original pieces, each one completely different.

The Skin Fair has been open a few days now and did you know it's more than just skins on offer? Zibska has an amazing make-up collection at the event, with several colours contained in each pack ranging from pastels, darks to vibrants! There is sure to be something to suit you!
