Fantasy Faire - Relay Wings

Time for another Fantasy Faire post from me. If you haven't had the opportunity to take a look around the Fairelands yet, the lag should now have died down a little for you to be able to truly enjoy the wonderful builds of each region. 
Azul has introduced the lovely fairy ensemble at the Faire, with 100% of the proceeds going towards Relay For Life. The outfit includes mesh dress in several standard sizes, with flex add on wings and attachments.
The beautiful 'Relay Wing Couture Lashes' by no 7 also have proceeds to support that charity and this fancy lashes accessory has a colour HUD to enable you to change colour of both the metal and jewel sections.
You'll also find this 'Enchantment Tree' by Boudoir in the RFL vendors at their booth at the Faire.
{anc} has created some beautiful ornamental fountains especially for this event. Available in many different colours and either wood or stone texture, this found comes in 3 different sizes. The smaller two also have a shadow option. The 'Lotus' fountain contains animated water making is a lovely feature for any scene or garden.
And if you aren't all shopped out at the Fantasy Faire, do be sure to drop by Truth mainstore for some new hair! 'Malea' comes in both rigged and unrigged mesh versions.

hello peeps, hope you are all having an awesome weekend!

The current round of Genre is 'rockabilly' and DRBC didn't disappoint with lots of new pretties for this round! The dress that caught my attention instantly was this cherry babydoll dress! I mean, is this cute or what? It's fitted mesh so will work with most bodies too! And the really nice part? Oh it's the price, just 99L.

The other bits and pieces aren't new for events, but just some faves I've collected over time and I thought worked well for what I wanted today ;)

The pose is from the 'bombshell' collection by Project Puppet that was at the Pose Fair (which sadly ended today *tears*) but I'm sure it will be instore soon! 

I'm using the legs of the new COCO Fashion Doll with the more traditional Cocodoll upper. For Dollcoco group members, you'll have received the new fashion doll body in peach (plus a new head) in the notices. For everyone else, the new doll comes in 4 different tones and has slightly different joints to the previous doll. The thing I love though - the feet are made to fit SLink shoes! Yes, 3 foot types included so now all your SLink shoes will fit your doll with no fuss :D

The Fairelands Are Open!! (& the dreams really begin)

Just once per year, something very very special happens. The mists lift and reveal The Fairelands to us. These very special regions take you on a journey through mystical towns, enchanting woods and lands that seem to belong to the Gods themselves.Take a ride to the Fairelands Junction and you will find you are below water, but do not fear as breathing is of no problem in this magical place. From here you can begin the climb to the surface up one of the winding footpaths until you reach the sea of lanterns that signals you have arrived above water (or you can teleport directly to the region of choice from the Junction too!)

10 beautifully crafted shopping regions await you filled with delightful creations formed by some of the best imaginations on the grid. And this is all for a very good cause - Relay For Life. Each store has items that will benefit this wonderful cause each time they are purchased.

So many things have captured my imagination from this year's Fantasy Faire, but I have to say I was quite taken with this "I love books!" furniture set by Wishbringer. I do love books and they often provide an escape to another world for me when I most need one (usually my lunch break at work!). The set consists of the chair and tool box shown, but also includes a bed, sofa and ottoman. Both the book covers and inside pages are beautifully decorated and really make the items stand out.

I was ready to make my little scene for a pic when I came across something else that fuelled my book lovin' - the 'Flying Book Moths' by ~*Sweet Revoloutions*~. There are 5 different versions of these animated decor pieces, each with different colours and decorations on the covers.

For all the book lovers out there, you may wish to check out the Literary Festival events Schedule, which is ongoing throughout the duration of the Fantasy Faire.

Each year the Faire sets some blogger challenges and I'd like to dive straight in with my first post with the challenge of 'My New Shiny'. Anyone can take part in these challengers and you can find more info here. Well my new shiny is these beautiful wings by Faeline Fairy. The movement on these is really beautiful and they go to show how lovely flex can still be when worked right! There are so many different options on the movement and look of these wings a still picture really doesn't do them justice, so I've taken a short animated shot here too (apologies for the quality). They have one of the most realistic wing movements I think I've ever seen in SL and I'm so glad to have discovered this store!

The parasol and the hair flower Dolly is wearing are by Poet's Heart. Each come's with a colour HUD and the central, inner petals and outer petals sections can be changed independently of each other. 

And on that note, I'm going to let Dolly get lost in her books and dream of the Fairelands - so happy shopping to you all!

A few days away and it seems like I've been away for a month SL time, I swear it! TAG Gacha started on Friday and I love the theme this time around. It's all kinds of freaky sideshow oddities and the creators have been hard at work making some very awesome things to play for. If you wanna find out how TAG works, hit up their website and you'll find the LM to the starting location at the bottom of this blog post.
The creepy cute dolls and pram are the prizes by Remarkable Oblivion for this event. The pram can be resized to suit needs and their are 6 awesome dolls to collect. The super cool thing about these dolls is the way their heads move to look at you too but you can lock in position if preferred.
CerberusXing also has some very cool pipes for TAG. The rare is a dragon head and comes in 2 different wood colours and 3 different metals. A HUD is included to control smoke on or off and there is an animation for smoking too, which 'switches' the pipe from hand to mouth.

A new round of IDK has kicked off and Azoury is really stepping out with these fabulous shoes. Available in 3 colours, they fit SLink, Maitreya & Belleza feet. 

Don't forget We Love Roleplay is going on for a few more days. Dead Dollz has this lovely dress with lace details available in 3 different colours. Bonus for mesh body lovers, I didn't need any alpha to wear this with my Maitreya Lara... It just slipped on nicely!

Any way the wind blows...

Spring is here and so is the beautiful new Spring Collection by Dead Dollz for Ferosh! The collection consists of 3 gowns and 3 shorter dress, all completely unique styles and each available in a selection of colours. There are 4 different colour options for the beautifully delicate 'Voulez Vous?' that I'm wearing today.

The lovely long locks are by Truth as part of their new release. Bangs are all pinned back with this style, just leave very loose curls to run down your back and fall forward too. All of the usual colour packs available in the mainstore.

This cute-as-can-be suitcase collection is by *Tentacio* for The Kawaii Project. There are 9 different styles - 4 of which are shown. The case comes with a hold animation and is mod to resize as desired.

Don't forget the Pose Fair is still going on too. Black Tulip have several new releases included 2 elegant 'Standing by the Window' collections, from which today's pose was taken. OK, so it's not a window - but it's still a lovely view!

These Hands

So I've gone and done a 180 from my last pic.. it was maybe a little too bright and light and springlike for me, so I've turned back over to the darkside today to balance out!

Azoury has a new release available in store and on sl marketplace. The 'Churel Cross' is beautiful ornamental jewel-encrusted accessory that hangs over the face from a delicate chain. It's non-rigged mesh and has a resizer included.

These fabulous new claws are by He La and will be an exclusive for the Black Fashion Fair, which starts on April 17th. They come in 3 colours - Black, silver and gold - and each has a hud to change the nail and pearl colours. The claws come pre-positioned for SLink casual hands but each individual claw can be moved separately to adjust for other hands.

And I have to say, I'm loving the new 'pretty reckless' hairstyle by Tableau Vivant at Collabor88. This style comes in both the 11 standard colour huds and the 3 frizzy chic huds too, all of which are available at a discounted price for the duration of the event.
